Blog 3: My favorite piece of technology

 Hey everyone! 

Today we are talking about technology :) I think my favorite piece of technology is my cellphone. I use it for many things such as listening to music, talking to friends and loved ones, checking social media, taking pictures, sending emails, and even buying things online. I never use it at work unless it is to check things related to work. 

I am always listening to music whether I'm walking or taking the bus or the metro. It entertains me during long and tedious trips. I also use it when I go out on long walks throughout the city (I've walked to the Parque Bicentenario from Santiago) At home, I use it to read because it keeps me focused, which I know sounds weird because music usually distracts people. Something very weird is that I try to listen to a full album when I go on long trips or when I read. I love using my cellphone and I recommend using it, but not too much so you do not get addicted!

    We share the same taste for the phone and I agree with the comment of not using it too much because one becomes addicted to the cell phone jaja

    I listen to music while reading too! But it has to be instrumental, as lyrics distract me and I start singing jajaja

Blog 5: A Career-Related Website OR an Expert in Your Field

Hi everyone, I hope all is well with you. Today, we are going to talk about a career related website OR an expert in your field of study. I can't think of one specific website, so I will talk about a couple I use. One is the New Yorker Magazine, here is where I take short-stories that I use for class. Some of my favorite English-language writers have written in this magazine like Jamaica Kincaid, Junot Díaz, and Edwidge Danticat. The only problem about the website is that after like 6 monthly visits they want to charge you :( Another website I like is The Nation Magazine, it is a progressive American magazine where you can get good news from.
